On those “mandatory” tips for groups, I suspect you would be doing even more work if that group was split over two tables. Quit complaining about the MINOR? effort resulting from the larger order that will make the traditional gratuity larger, Perhaps if management weren’t shoving that “tip” down their thought the traditional amount would go down easier.

That is sooo true! I used to be a waitress and I got tipped for shit. If you people out there, who go? out to nice restaurants and can barely afford your own dinner let alone actually make a tip you jackasses, don’t go out!
@HowToGetFreebies That isn’t right at all. Especially since you didn’t even have a server. That’s bullshit, and i used to be a waitress! Forcing tips on people..that’s ridiculous. I went to a restaurant that couldn’t? split the check between my 7 friends and myself. She only told us after we had gotten the check that we couldn’t. That was bullshit, and I’m never going back there again.
@HowToGetFreebies I’ve never heard of a fast food restaurant including a tip in the bill, let alone encouraging tips at all. I know I wouldn’t want to go to a place that mandates tips and doesn’t even provide a server though. That defeats the whole purpose of the tipping system. I have never? heard of restaurants in general including the tip in the bill for individuals either. That’s usually reserved for larger groups around here.
