    1:10 – 1:20 any transaction which get flagged as potential fraud is apparently a justification to dig into your personal life. Had the same? experience with ING Direct not so long ago, horrible!

    Great show. I think William Quigley and Jon Ferrara are? a couple of your best guests. You were really fired up on this show. I never did see too much value in Facebook especially if you are doing B2B. I have embraced Google+ since day one. I just have to believe that an open network will always out perform a closed one. I’m going to have to give Path a shot. Keep up the great job. I really look forward to the show.

    Facebook = Deathstar

    Did? you see Gravatar has expanded profiles now? It’s not much but I think WordPress will supersede Facebook eventually.

    By the way, how is it possible that you and your guests completely left out Youtube as the core of Google’s strategy to destroy facebook? The entire purpose of G+ is to roll it into facebook and create Youtubebook. The new Youtube redesign is just the first step. Video is the key. Video is the future. Every photo? will at some point be part of at least a 5 second video clip. Youtube is how Google will become the ultimate facebook. There’s no stopping it. It’s just a matter of time.

    Jason, it sounds like you’re ready to have Eben Moglen on one of your shows. He’s been preaching for years that the business model of social networks like facebook are malignant by design. There can be no benign business model for it. Pretty, convenient and free, but at the cost of being spied on all the time, is way too high a price to pay for the services they offer.? But, of course, if you actually did have him on one of your shows your sponsors would kill you.

    I think Diaspora is where people will eventually go. If people don’t want their info controlled by a corporation that is the only real competing social network. Google has? no edge over facebook because they have an equally spotty record of violating privacy.
