I found this simple, direct, and thought-provoking. In the last few years I have left the solid shores of Microsoft products and dipped into the sea of open-source– PHP, Apache, MySQL– and the communities that support these and the commercial? but well-supported ActionScript. I have felt the love.
Though I did not really think of it in those terms, and this talk gave me a new way to look at it. It also gave me new motivation to help out as best I can on those forums.
