@Dooby1986 So your saying ALL the money it took? to build the new North terminal and McNamara was a waste?
@bg11215 I agree, I doubt? planes had warning such as sirens, buzzers, in cockpits back in that time.
I know it’s really easy to play armchair quarterback and say what they crew should have done;? but how does a pilot forget to ensure that the flaps are correctly set for take-off ???
@MidnightProdigy3
haha beef? and tomato
uggh. I remember how shitty Northwest Orient was in the late 80′s. DTW airport was a disgusting flea-ridden hellhole. I’m glad they renovated it, but now? it’s losing business because most revenue was made by Japanese car executives traveling to Detroit, and now thats fleeting.
@Flash8437
It definitely took off from 3C. I worked? there not long after, in a building just NE from the end of 3C and within the flight path of 255. DTW configuration has changed considerably since then with new terminals and a couple new runways. What was 3C, is now 3L.
Unfair…Why 4 year old survive? while the older asses died??THE 4 YEAR OLDIE SHALL BE KILLED ALONG TOO!!!
@MidnightProdigy3 lol?
Put? on captions and skip to 3:32,look at the caption,LOL
This? happened similar to Spanair JK5022. Incorrect flaps setting.
