@taneia1973 I really didn’t get the impression that he was targeting the obese at all – he? made that one point about exercise being beneficial for obese people as well, but everything else I understood to be aimed at the whole population.

Is that a joke? The people saying this is harder than it sounds? To get 30 min of exercise a? day, and just walking at that.. is hard? hahahah! Have people really become THAT lazy? Surly you guys are trolling.

  • averyleosmith

Totally? agree with walking everyday at the same time!!!!!!!!!

@lucyliang85 this presentation really doesn’t NEED to be animated… Check your? local library for presentations more in line with your view. They are everywhere and mostly boring.

Like? if you’re sitting down while watching this presentation.

I love the way he says “Can you limit your sitting and sleeping to just 23 1/2 hours a day?”
It shows how a half hour of exercise really isn’t that much, and besides YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT? ALL AT ONCE! :3

This? is utterly brilliant. I have been studying Health and advocating for improvements in mens health for almost a decade in both mens groups and a governmental level here in Australia. Mike Evans research lines up with all the most advanced in the field around the world. Exercise, nutrition, rest, faith, family, fun and strong relationships are the keys to living longer but if you had to pick out one thing it would be Exercise. Socrates is right walking is the best exercise.

What I was thinking the entire time: why does this need to? be animated like this? I felt kind of patronized. I can understand even if there aren’t pictures for each sentence… the content makes it for adults, but the presentation hints that it’s for people who have the attention span of a minnow.

I liked this but I really wish that Dr. Evans had directed his health statements about being regularly active to people of all sizes, not targeting “the obese” which implies that by virtue of their size, lean/thin people don’t need to hear this same “prescription” for activity. People of all sizes can benefit from regular activity, and emphasizing weight management to one group only serves to continually? stigmatize that group, rather than focus on a broader health promotion message that benefit
